Branded Spaces

Poppie’s Ice
Cream Shoppe

Designed in memory of Millard Oakley a.k.a "Poppie", this campus ice cream parlor in the Roaden University Center balances a nostalgic, retro aesthetic with vibrant energy tailored for modern student life.

Working closely with the Oakley family as brand consultants, I led the visual development end to end by creating a custom retro-style Awesome Eagle mascot enjoying ice cream set against a repeating branded pattern wall wrap. In addition to the main wall graphics, I provided input on spatial layout, signage placement, color schemes, and paint selections to ensure a cohesive physical footprint, and I extended the visual identity to custom vinyl wraps for mobile treat serving carts used across campus events and spaces.

Roaden University Center Hallway

I developed the foundational design concepts and visual frameworks for a major hallway overhaul in the student center. While final production and assembly were transitioned to vendor Roman Stone due to internal project schedules, key design elements from my initial drafts were integrated into the final installation. This included my gradient photographic treatments, repeating background patterns, and custom line art illustration assets.

Roaden University Center Mailroom

This conceptual wall-sized illustration was designed to bring creative energy to a high-traffic student utility space. Featuring a playful space theme complete with a flying mail parcel, orbit paths, custom typography, and a stylized moon, the piece sought to turn a routine and high-traffic errand area into an engaging, memorable brand moment.

Global Experiences Entryway

Designed for the Study Abroad and Global Experiences department entrance interior, this wall wrap concept used spatial illustration and vector iconography to inspire student travel. The artwork features a vibrant stylized globe with flight paths, iconic world landmarks, and a dense collage of custom passport stamps to encourage international engagement, and provide a fun environment.

Information Center Wrap &
Human Resources Conference Wall

These direct, high-impact environmental wraps were designed to modernize and brand key touchpoints across campus. For the Information Center desk, I applied university typography and a duo-tone purple photo treatment highlighting the student center to welcome visitors at the main street entrance.

For the Human Resources conference room, I created an expansive aerial campus photo wrap integrated with a translucent purple brand overlay, university mark, and strategic branded word cloud to establish a strong institutional value presence in the environment.
